A Picture From Amelia!

I have just been sent this fabulous illustration of people queueing at a bus stop. It has been drawn by a very talented little girl, Amelia, from Rivelin Primary School. She is just 7 years old. Is it in oil pastels Amelia?

Impressive eh? I think I will soon have some competition, don't you? Thank you so much Amelia!

Amelia is certainly a very talented little artist. You'd better watch out Lynne, she'll be taking your job.
Well done Amelia, I'd love to see some more of your paintings.

Dear Lynne,

I thought you would like some more info on my bus stop picture. I painted the picture because I was given a book on painting and some acrylic paints for my birthday. I started off by practising all the parts separately in my sketch book. Then I put them together.

Love from Amelia

I like the idea of practising in bits and I'm very pleased to hear you have a sketchbook - well done!

It's also a good way of getting a feel for the new paints.
